W’s Sublime Summer Camp

I finally had a chance to look through my July issue of W this weekend, and the brilliant Bruce Weber photo story immediately caught my eye. The question: What would happen if a flock of new designers hit the road for a summer adventure with a handful of top models? The answer: Lazy days filled with beautiful people in exquisite clothes. W and Mr. Weber showed off their fashion power, bringing together the hottest young names in the industry – Alexander Wang, Laura and Kate Mulleavy of Rodarte, Georgina Chapman of Marchesa, the ubiquitous Ms. Moss – for a class picture of fashion’s future, and some “candid” shots that suggest just a hint of sublime debauchery. This is one summer camp I’d love to attend. Photo courtesy of wmagazine.com.
