First Fashion: Shopping List

Just like a weekly grocery list, jotting down your fashion needs is a smart idea. I easily give into temptations like the scattered crystals on this Robert Rodriguez denim jacket or the feather print on this Lauren Merkin clutch, and then find I’m neglecting basic essentials. What’s currently at the top of my to-buy list? Leggings, infinity scarves, a tailored yet edgy blazer, and these timeless goodies:

Cozy knits used to make me think grandma sweaters, but our wanderer trend has turned me on to the cool gypsy-chic vibe only lots of layers can provide. This fluid sweater coat will bring high-drama warmth to a chilly night. Mason by Michelle Mason - Cable Blanket Coat

My current fur-trimmed wool coat says “uptown classic,” but how about “classic rock”? A faux fur vest from BB Dakota is just the ticket. BB Dakota - Potter Faux Fur Vest

With all this talk about outerwear, I can’t forget luxe innerwear. You can never have too much lingerie, and I’m totally smitten with the vintage peignoir glamour of this piece. Kiki de Montparnasse - Amour Caftan

Fresh fruit, vanilla bath gel, over-the-knee boots—a girl has her needs. Pick up the sartorial variety in What’s New.
