A closet full of dark-rinse, boot-cut jeans screams out for change: tie-dye, galaxy print, anything with color! Celebrities and models look amazing in bold prints and patterns, but what would it look like on, say, a real woman, with hips? In a little fashion experiment, I slipped into a vibrant leopard-print pair of Joe’s Jeans. The result? Three compliments and a newfound pop of color in my denim wardrobe’s sea of blue.
Turns out, print denim is shockingly versatile. Rag & Bone legging jeans in a feather print can be edgy with Elizabeth and James boots or soft with a Vince sweater. Current/Elliott jeans in a faded leopard print make a statement with a bright Alice + Olivia top. Dip a toe into the trend with python-paneled Rebecca Minkoff jeans or go full bore in pink tie-dye by Ksubi. Either way, this is a refreshing way to escape the confines of dull denim.
