Cargos. Like sweatshirts and sweatpants, this once strictly utilitarian piece has received the high-fashion treatment of late. Though skintight cargos paired with a swingy tank, platform sandals, and oversized sunglasses have been ideal throughout the hotter months, the dusty khaki and olive green shades are right in step with fall’s military trend. Try a looser version by Current/Elliott with a draped tank and a structured blazer, and underline the ensemble with a predatory pair of lace-up high-heel booties.
