Metallics show up in some incarnation every season, and have evolved from burnished bags and sequined dresses to accents in every form. While some designers are whispering shimmer with subtle metallic threading woven into fabric for spring 2011, others are shouting it from the rooftops. Rag & Bone, Alexander Wang, DVF, and Thakoon had some bangers that could double as sun tanning reflectors. The lamé look can be tricky to pull off, but my advice is this: take your cues from the few and go bold or go home!
