Jill Stuart’s fall runway had a very military mood with a cool-girl urban twist. I loved the over-the-knee boots; they gave the men’s military-inflected looks a really sexy feel. It kind of reminded me of a city girl who has a boyfriend in the army. She wears his coats and sweaters, but with her sexy dresses and thigh-high boots.
The other accessories in this show were equally incredible. The belts were amazing—some with mini satchels attached, all with vintage-esque coin details. And in jewelry, the models wore very cool chunky chain bracelets, designed in collaboration with Mark Walsh and Leslie Chin, who have also worked with designers like Rodarte and Tibi.
