Fashion Week in Full Swing

Sweet pastels meet bad-girl details at Charlotte Ronson (left). A denim bandage dress at Hervé Léger (right).

It’s been an inspiring week for several reasons...

1. Seeing the best-dressed editors and stylists all in one place! The people-watching is insane and the vibe this Fashion Week is very friendly.

2. Viewing spring collections during a warm autumn. We can put our fave runway trends into play right away!

3. Spending ample face time with Morgan to discuss exactly what we want to show the Shopbop customer in What’s New come January! (Not to mention sharing clothes! I will miss BBM-ing with Mo every morning to discuss our looks.)

Some highlights from the runway so far...

Hervé Léger: The line’s signature body-con silhouettes with a folklore/bohemian sensibility–brilliant! I’m obsessed with the unexpected long-sleeve denim bandage dress.

Rag & Bone: The styling was amazing, and I loved the sock/boot combos! Polished blouses and blazers paired with casual sweatpants and thermal harem pants looked so cool.

Charlotte Ronson: Loved the skillful layering and accessories. The models looked both sweet and bad in a mash-up of pinks and greys, braided headbands, sheer biker shorts, and chiffon scarves hanging out of pockets.

Rebecca Taylor: An amazing example of how to mix prints. Leopard, liberty florals, and polka dots worn together look so fresh.

Stay tuned for more!
