Halloween’s my favorite holiday (not surprising for someone who takes any and every opportunity to throw a themed party), and lucky for me I live right here in Madison, the site of one of the nation’s largest Halloween bashes. Here, building a costume isn’t as easy as going out and buying fake teeth or a mullet wig; it’s an excuse to create an all-out work of art. This year I’m dressing as Faye Dunaway’s take on the infamous outlaw Bonnie Parker of Bonnie and Clyde, with a beret, scarf, and vintage-inspired tweed skirt (in addition to a cigar and some plastic weaponry). But some shopboppers who couldn’t wait for tonight showed off their ensembles right here in the office:
Anna and Holly run from the papparazi—aka a shopbop photographer—as Mary-Kate and Ashley.
Maia goes Mad Men in '60s-inspired attire.
Kelly proves her rock-star (and pop cultural) cred by smashing a guitar as Jem.
A team of shopboppers might as well face it: they’re addicted to Robert Palmer videos.
