The perfect button-down is not easy to come by. Finding a cut that fits just so in a fabric that feels luxe yet casual is no simple feat, but LA-based Frank & Eileen is making the search a little less daunting. Designed by Audrey McLoghlin, Frank & Eileen shirts blend the season’s coveted boyfriend silhouette with spot-on tailoring. Gingham checks and crisp cotton poplin are rumpled and wrinkled for a lived-in look.
And, in an added dose of charm, the label gives a nod to the designer’s roots: Audrey named the line after her grandparents, who fell in love and were married in 1947, and each silhouette is named after a member of the family tree.
