NYFW Fall 2011: Rag & Bone

Vintage-inspired colorblock and varsity jackets on the Rag & Bone fall 2011 runway.

We always anticipate the Rag & Bone runway show; it provides a refreshing jumpstart to NYFW. The show opener confirmed our expectations, giving us an instant adrenaline rush. Old school Olympics came to mind with bright blue and burnt orange colorblock, sporty varsity jackets, chevron patterns, and tartan plaids. Innovative hybrids including the kilt/pant and clutch/glove provide practicality—pretty genius we must say!

Notable finishing touches: messy après-ski braids and flat gold chain chokers.
